Full Stack Engineer in Product & Engineering Crew

About the Role

Famly is seeking a Full Stack Engineer for the Product & Engineering crew (AIM crew) in Copenhagen. The AIM crew (8 engineers, 2 designers, 1 PM) focuses on UK and DACH market expansion, particularly in reporting, safeguarding, and messaging features for Famly's Early Childhood Platform serving 8,000+ nurseries globally.

What You'll Do

• Build scalable production features across the platform to support the early childhood mission
• Work across frontend UI, backend APIs, and infrastructure in collaboration with engineers, designers, and product manager
• Plan, design, develop, and roll out new features
• Integrate AI tools into your development workflow for prototyping, code generation, and debugging
• Focus on UK and DACH market expansion, emphasizing reporting, safeguarding, and messaging

What You'll Need

• Proactive ownership from idea to production
• Product mindset focused on users and customer needs
• Active AI usage in development workflow — you're already using AI tools like Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code to move faster and build better
• Solid understanding of functional programming — Scala with cats, cats-effect, fs2, and slick
• Full-stack capability: modern single-page apps with TypeScript and React, and APIs in GraphQL and REST
• Clear communication, rapid learning, team-oriented approach
• Comfort working in a multinational environment (45+ nationalities, English-speaking company)

Work Setup
