About the Role:
Future Works seeks a results-driven, AI-Enabled Fullstack Engineer with strong end-to-end experience building custom software solutions. You will own the development and delivery of scalable, production-grade applications, from architecture through deployment, ensuring solutions are aligned with client requirements and business objectives. You will work within an agentic engineering environment where modern AI development tools accelerate delivery without compromising engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build production-grade applications using React and Next.js
- Convert product/client requirements into structured implementation plans
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, v0, LLMs) to accelerate development
- Review and refine AI-generated code for correctness, performance, and maintainability
- Establish and maintain architectural boundaries
- Integrate third-party platforms (Twilio, Stripe, Temporal, etc.)
- Ship features rapidly while preserving production stability
- Collaborate with design, product, and client teams
- Stay current with AI-assisted coding practices and their limitations
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years building modern web applications
- Strong TypeScript and JavaScript fundamentals
- Deep React and Next.js expertise
- Headless CMS experience (Contentful, Sanity, Strapi, Payload)
- CI/CD, Git workflows, DNS, and cloud deployment knowledge
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, v0, LLMs), with a strong understanding of when to rely on them and when not to
- Third-party API integration experience (payments, messaging, workflow engines)
