Founding AI Engineer

Hey Telo (YC W25) builds Voice AI for the Home Service industry, helping Germany's 1 million craftsman businesses by automating phone answering and administrative work.

As Founding AI Engineer, you will:

• Collaborate with customers to solve problems and improve their work experience
• Build scalable backend infrastructure to handle thousands of phone calls per day
• Develop intuitive user experiences in an AI-first environment
• Optimize voice agents for reliability, accuracy, and human-like interaction
• Monitor emerging trends in voice AI, LLM agents, and distributed systems

Required Technical Skills:

• Full-stack software engineering experience (React, TypeScript, Python)
• Cloud technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Modern LLM techniques (transformers, agents, RAG, fine-tuning, context engineering)
• Plus: voice agent experience (Vapi, Pipecat, LiveKit)
• Expertise in leveraging AI tools that make you more productive (Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, etc.)
