Role Summary
This position targets early-career engineers with exceptional ability and ownership mentality. Candidates will tackle meaningful product challenges from day one, receive mentorship from senior engineers, and work extensively with AI development tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver complete features across TypeScript/Node.js infrastructure
- Work on new projects requiring creative problem-solving
- Build AI-enabled features (chat, content generation, personalization, moderation)
- Use Cursor, Claude Code, and Copilot for accelerated development
- Experiment with LLMs, embeddings, and AI product integrations
- Ship rapidly, gather feedback, and learn from live systems
- Partner with Product, Design, and engineering leadership
- Contribute to technical standards and discussions
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional intelligence with strong learning capacity
- High agency; self-directed problem-solving approach
- Strong data structures, algorithms, and system design fundamentals
- TypeScript or JavaScript proficiency; Node.js, React, or Next.js experience beneficial
- Comfort with AI coding assistants (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot)
- Interest in prompt engineering and LLM applications
- Shipping mentality with iteration focus
- Coachability and receptiveness to feedback
- 1-4 years experience or equivalent portfolio/open source work
