About the Role
Pipedrive is looking for a Junior Back End Software Engineer to join our ongoing quest to create the most innovative sales management solution in our Tallinn and Tartu offices.
In this role, you'll get a chance to work with a team of 9 engineers to enable Sales, Success, Support and partners to bring in, retain, and upsell customers by providing scalable and sustainable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality code on time
- Review code and provide feedback to peers
- Write automated tests
- Build and deploy microservices to production
- Build necessary service monitoring and alerting systems
- Learn new technologies and ways of working alongside peers to grow into an independent developer
- Collaborate closely with peers to solve problems by writing maintainable code
- Design new features and improve existing ones
Technology Stack:
- Back End: Node.js and TypeScript
- Other: MySQL, Redis, Kafka
- AI: Claude, Cursor, Copilot or Codex
Beneficial Skills:
- Experience with PHP (7+), MySQL, CouchDB, ElasticSearch, Redis, and Apache Kafka
- Ability to work in areas outside of your usual comfort zone and get things done quickly
